Last day at Oropi - 24.02.17

Today we had to say goodbye to our Korean international students. We worked on their speeches before they all read them out at our whole school assembly. They all did such an amazing job reading their speeches.

We also made pancakes this morning get which they all enjoyed. They put bananas, blueberries and lemon on them. Yum yum.

I have enjoyed my time with the students and I wish them well and safe travels back to Korea. We hope they come back to Oropi school again 😊

Today we went to Rotorua to visit Te Puia. We saw geysers and boiling mud! Kids loved it. Then we had a cultural show where the were treated to the "haka".

The children did extremely well considering the rain all day. We even saw them putting down a "hangi" (food cooked in the ground.

Great day had by all.
